1. Log in to Your WordPress Dashboard:
    • Go to your WordPress website’s admin dashboard by logging in with your username and password.
  2. Create or Edit an Event:
    • If you want to add tickets to a new event:
      • Go to Events > Add New to create a new event.
      • Enter the event’s title, description, date, and other relevant details.
    • If you want to add tickets to an existing event:
      • Go to Events > All Events.
      • Find the event you want to add tickets to and click Edit.
  3. Scroll to the Tickets Section:
    • After setting up the event details, scroll down to the Tickets section, usually located below the event editor.
  4. Add New Ticket:
    • Click the Add Ticket button.
    • A form will appear where you can fill out ticket details.
  5. Enter Ticket Information:
    • Ticket Name: Enter a name for the ticket (e.g., “General Admission” or “VIP Ticket”).
    • Price: Set the price for the ticket (e.g., £20).
    • Quantity: Specify the number of tickets available for sale.
    • SKU: Optionally, enter an SKU if you use stock keeping units for tracking purposes.
  6. Ticket Settings:
    • Start Sale: Set the date and time when ticket sales will begin.
    • End Sale: Set the date and time when ticket sales will end.
    • Stock: If you want to limit the number of tickets sold, enter the number here. If you want unlimited sales, leave it blank.
  7. WooCommerce Product Sync:
    • If you have Event Tickets Plus enabled and WooCommerce integration is active, the ticket you create here will automatically create a WooCommerce product. This allows the ticket to be sold through the WooCommerce checkout process.
  8. Save Ticket:
    • Once all the details are entered, click Save Ticket. This will add the ticket to the event.
  9. Publish or Update the Event:
    • After adding the ticket(s), scroll up and click the Publish button if this is a new event or the Update button if you are editing an existing event.
  10. Test the Event Page:
    • Visit the event page to verify that the tickets are displayed correctly and the purchase process works smoothly through WooCommerce.

Additional Features:

  • Ticket Options: After saving, you’ll have additional options such as:
    • Attendee Information: Collect specific attendee information during checkout (if enabled in Event Tickets Plus).
    • RSVP vs Paid Tickets: If you're offering both free RSVP options and paid tickets, they can coexist on the same event page.

Manage Tickets in WooCommerce:

  • Once tickets are added and saved, they will appear in WooCommerce > Products, where you can further manage stock, pricing, and other product settings.
